My work always originates from my archives. They are collections of found analogue imagery, findings from the internet and my own photography. I reuse older works, registrations of experiments in my studio and images of former exhibitions. By constantly changing the context, I explore their meaning in different narratives. Stretching the origin until almost none of it is left. Struggling with the flat photographic medium, I shift them back and forth between two and three dimensional objects. My work reflects on ways to deal with situations I encounter, concerning themes such as love, change or loss. I question the way we use photography, the way we represent what we see in a two dimensional image.
