Tied To Light Vol.2
We recently passed the two year anniversary for the open call for our very first publication… and what better way to celebrate than to announce that we are now open for submissions for Tied to Light Vol. 2!
For this edition, we’re particularly looking for works that explore the tactility of photography, that think about how the surface of the photograph informs the final work. This could encompass the use of experimental printing techniques, manipulation of the printed surface, mixed-media, sculptural works…in other words, works that play with the materiality of photography and how the photograph can exist as both image and object.
The open call is free to enter, however if you’d like to support the production of this publication, you can do so by purchasing a copy of Tied to Light Vol. 1, linked in our bio. We are a small team, founded by two artists, and all funds raised from publication sales will go directly into the running of the collective and its future projects.
Submission Guidelines
- 1-8 images per submission
- Artist statement (max. 150 words)
- Website and social media links
- Collate images and text onto one pdf (max. 5MB), titled ‘NameSurname.pdf’
- Send to tiedtolight@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Vol. 2 Submission’
